Becoming An Instructor of Record

Thursday, May 25, 2017 -
10:00am to 12:00pm

Bruininks 432A

Given the many components of running a course, first time teaching on your own can be overwhelming. Participants in this workshop will learn strategies for efficiently managing this process. Topics to be addressed include: adapting a syllabus, designing engaging class sessions, and developing appropriate assignments - all with a broad range of students in mind.

A week prior to the workshop, participants will complete an online activity that will prepare them, and workshop facilitators, for a quick start to the session.  Expect the activity to take about an hour.
