Help! My Class Has Both Online and In-Person Students!
This session is part of an informal community of practice that is for anyone whose classes involve some students joining remotely while others join in person. As you navigate through your class week by week, work through the challenges and questions in front of you with input and guidance from peers and consultants. We’ll meet weekly with nine meetings total -- join us for as many or as few sessions as you wish. Feel free to bring your lunch!
Cristina Lopez from the Center for Educational Innovation
Nine weekly meetings, Thursdays 12 p.m. -1 p.m., August 19 - October 15. Join us for as many or as few sessions as you wish.
Format & Participation Options
We intend to model the strategies we discuss and are considering making both online and in-person (on the Twin Cities East Bank campus) attendance possible for these sessions. When you register, you will have the opportunity to indicate the mode that works best for you.
You’ll have access to the entire series, but this program is drop-in. Register for the dates that work best for your schedule. The Zoom details will be the same each week so you may change your mind and attend dates you didn’t originally select.
Accessibility & Accommodation Requests
We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Please contact the Center for Educational Innovation (email@example.com) to request accommodations or discuss access needs (e.g. interpreting, captioning, large print, image descriptions, material format, etc.) Whenever possible, please submit requests for real-time captioning, interpreting, and material formatting at least two weeks in advance. Requests made after that point cannot be guaranteed.
