The power of talk: Using conferences to support student writing (Workshop)
L-118 Carlson School (West Bank)
Student motivation is one of the strongest determiners of academic performance. One of the most effective ways to increase student motivation is to provide opportunities for students to confer individually and in small groups about their work. In this workshop we’ll discuss and practice proven conferencing strategies and review digital tools (Google Hangout, WebEx, Skype, etc.) that allow you to make effective use of office hours, paper conferences, and online consultations.
