Teaching with Collaborative Writing

Wednesday, August 25, 2021 10:00am to 11:00am

Description: Working remotely, participants will use the 60-minute synchronous workshop to design a collaborative writing (CW) assignment based on their student learning objectives. Designed to help you develop or revise a CW project, the session shows you how just five dimensions of writing support learning objectives in courses across the curriculum and provide a foundation for instruction, course-specific writing, peer review, and assessment.

Come with student learning objectives and leave with a well-designed collaborative writing assignment.

Facilitator:  Joe Moses, Senior Lecturer, Writing Studies, CLA and Co-author of Collaborative Writing Playbook: An Instructor’s Guide to Designing Writing Projects for Student Teams, Parlor Press, 2021.

Recording & Resources: This session will be recorded and a link to the recording and resources will be sent to all registrants within two business days following the session.
