Mary Jetter

Education Program Specialist


Mary is an Education Program Specialist who has been with CEI since 1999. Mary wears a number of hats at the Center. She has provided leadership and facilitation for many of CEI's programs, including Early Career Teaching and Learning, Mid-Career Faculty Women's Program, Senior Faculty Fellows, and Teaching for Student Well-Being programs. With expertise in online teaching Mary has facilitated the Online Course Design Seminar and the Making a Good Online Course Even Better program. She has developed and facilitated many workshops related to this topic. She is also an instructor in the international teaching assistant program and coordinates the College of Science of Engineering's CSE:TALK program for new international TAs. She also provides program design and facilitation the Internationalizing Teaching and Learning (ITL) Program and CLA’s Career Readiness Initiative.

Mary holds a BA in Latin American Studies and Spanish from Central College and an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Northern Iowa.


Mary is CEI's liaison to UMN Extension, Duluth's College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences the and College of Education and Human Service Professions, and the Twin Cities' College of Liberal Arts, College of Design, and Law School.
