If you are a multilingual international graduate student or postdoc, CEI has resources and programs to support you as you navigate teaching in English within UMN’s educational culture. Because UMN has a language requirement for teaching assistants, we provide testing (Spoken English Test for TAs) and required courses through the International Teaching Assistant Program for those whose English Language Proficiency Rating is less than a “1”.
